Changes and cancellations

When changing or canceling your reservation, please prepare the followings.

  • Boarding date
  • Flight number
  • Reservation number
  • Name

Reservations must be changed or canceled before the departure time of the flight.

If you do not change or cancel your reserved flight before departure, you will not be allowed to transfer it to another flight with the ticket.

* Depending on the fare, some fares cannot be changed. (If it changes, a refund will be required, and a new purchase of the ticket will be required.)

Refund

The refundable period is within the validity period of the ticket and within 30 days from the following date of the expiration date of the ticket. Please note that refunds will not be possible after the period has passed.
If you are using e-ticket service or if there are cancellations or delays due to bad weather, etc., you will also need to make an application. Please complete the procedure within the refund period. (A ticket for the entire itinerary is also required for refunds for some sectors.)

For Flights from May 19 onward

Cases Where Refunds Cannot Be Processed on the Website
The following tickets cannot be refunded through the ORC website. Please refer to the handling locations below.

  • Refunds requested 5 days or more after the final travel date
  • Refunds for only one segment when all segments are unused for connecting itineraries with multiple segments *Refunds for remaining segments are available after completing one segment (may not be available depending on fare type)
  • Tickets purchased through travel agencies
  • Cases where there are separate reservations requiring refunds due to delays or cancellations, in addition to the original delayed/cancelled flight reservation

For the above cases, please contact the ORC Reservation Center.
For tickets purchased through travel agencies, please process refunds at the agency where the ticket was purchased.

About fees

For Flights through May 18

(1) Refund fee
In the case of a refund due to customer convenience, a refund fee of 440 yen will be charged per ticket (for each sector).
(2) Cancellation fee
If canceled after the departure time of the reserved flight, the customer using “ORC Blue 28” and “ORC Emerald 60” will be charged cancellation fee in addition to the refund fee (from 54 days prior to the departure date of the reserved flight, and the customer using “ORC Marine 1” will be charged.
Cancellation fees vary depending on the sector used.

For Flights from May 19 onward

Cancellation fee for “ORC Marine 1”

In the case of “ORC Marine 1”, a cancellation fee will be required if canceled after the ticket is purchased.

The following cancellation fees apply to the total fare amount of the entire reservation:

Cancellation Fees for ORC Sale Fares

44 days – 28 days before departure date
Approximately 40% of base fare (excluding tax)
27 days before departure date – Before departure time
Approximately 60% of base fare (excluding tax)
After departure time
100% of base fare (excluding tax)

Charge (PSFC) will be refunded.

Cancellation Fees for Youth 21 and Senior 65 Fares

The following cancellation fees apply to the total fare amount of the entire reservation:

  1. *1 Refund will be made to the credit card account you paid for. Please prepare the credit card used for the payment.

Refund to credit card accounts

If the payment method is a credit card, refund will be made to the card account.
Please note that the number of days until the refund may take 2-3 months for the refund, depending on the date of the refund process and the time of the credit card company’s deadline and refund process.
Depending on the time of processing, once full amount of the settlement has been deducted, the remaining amount may be refunded after deducting the fee, or the withdrawal and refund may be settled at the same time and only the fee may be deducted.

Special examples of changes and refunds

Please contact the ORC Reservation Center for information on what to do if you are possible to travel due to illness or other reasons.

* It is necessary to submit a medical card, etc. which are issued by a doctor.

About the lost ticket

If you lost your ticket, you would need an alternative ticket.
When boarding, please purchase an alternative ticket at the departure airport.

If you forget your ticket

A new purchase of an alternative ticket(*1)is required at the departure airport on the day of boarding.
At that time, please receive a double purchase certificate.

(*1) Fares eligible for alternative tickets: Regardless of the type of fare applicable to lost tickets, applicable fares will be applied to adult standard fares, children’s standard fares, discounts for persons with disabilities, and special passenger rates.

About refunds, please bring a ticket that you forgot at a later date and complete the refund procedure within the refund validity period.

The validity period of the refund is within 10 days from the day following the ticket validity period and expiration date.
The prescribed fee will be deducted based on the fare amount of the alternative ticket.

If you lose your ticket

A new purchase of an alternative ticket(*2) is required at the departure airport on the day of boarding.
At that time, please receive a double purchase certificate.

(*2) Fares eligible for alternative tickets: Regardless of the type of fare applicable to lost tickets, applicable fares will be applied to adult standard fares, children’s standard fares, discounts for persons with disabilities, and special passenger rates.

Within the refund period of the lost ticket, please submit a lost notification at the travel agency or ORC airport counter where you purchased the ticket. The travel agency or ORC airport counter staff will investigate the usage of lost tickets.

【About refund】

Refunds are possible only if the lost ticket has not been used or refunded.
The respond to the survey results of the usage situation by mail at approximately 3 months after the expiration of the refund period
The prescribed fee will be deducted (from the fare amount of the alternative ticket if purchased in double) and refunded.
The survey period may vary depending on the type of ticket and fare.
